Key Events and Achievements
February: Attorney Evans joined the Washington Business Journal’s 10th Annual Mentoring Monday as a mentor, connecting with
influential women leaders and sharing insights in a dynamic, fast-paced coaching environment. She also released her new interactive workbook, “Navigating the Trademark Landscape,” designed to help you master trademark concepts hands-on.
March: Attorney Evans spoke at the Globinar “What’s Up in Global Law,” a monthly conversation for the Global Chamber, discussing international trade, technology, and
innovation in law.
April: As a speaker at the 48th Annual CABL Conference, Attorney Evans addressed “Protecting Your Brand in the Age of AI,” offering strategies for entrepreneurs and corporations to defend their intellectual property and stay ahead of emerging threats.
May: Attorney Evans took the TEDx stage at
Nokesville, delivering her talk “Silencing Self-Doubt,” which resonated deeply with the audience. She also attended INTA 2025 in San Diego, connecting with the trademark community to discuss strategy and innovation.
June: Attorney Evans served as a Patent Attorney on Season 8 of MAKE48, which premiered on Roku’s This Old House Makers Channel, bringing the excitement of invention to viewers
nationwide.
July: We celebrated our 18th anniversary! For nearly two decades, it has been our honor to support creators, entrepreneurs, and businesses in protecting and enforcing their intellectual property. Attorney Evans also spoke at the 100th Annual National Bar Association Convention in Chicago, joining a panel on AI and Intellectual Property during this historic centennial celebration.
September: Attorney Evans was a featured speaker at the Black Women in Data Summit 2025, sharing perspectives and advancing opportunities for Black women in the data workforce.
October: Evans IP Law led a live virtual event on “AI in Commercial Transactions,” exploring legal risks, regulations, and practical strategies
for integrating AI responsibly into business workflows. The event was hosted by Bloomberg Law.
November: We reminded our community to protect their intellectual property before the holidays and celebrated Thanksgiving with gratitude for your continued support. Thank you for your birthday wishes to Attorney Evans.
December: We wished you a joyous holiday season and informed you about IP trends to expect in 2026.
