Did you know that a prototype is not required to file for a patent application? Many inventors have great inventions but never pursue protecting them or making them because of resources. However, if you can describe the invention in a way that someone can make or use the invention and it is determined that the invention is patentable, you can file a patent
application.

SPOILER ALERT I sat down with the Jonesez on this episode to discuss their invention and to take a second a look at the research/prior art. As we discussed, investors love investing in products that have multiple uses and if
the product is patentable that's an added bonus. Keep in mind that if you take an existing product and use the product a different way, using the product differently does not necessarily make the product patentable!
